Another one of my favourites. I have always loved the pencil skirt and this 1930s retro high-waisted design is figure hugging and very flattering. If you're aiming for that slender and long-legged look this is how you can get it.
It’s calf-length, a must this season! Looks great with high heels or flat ballerina pumps and of course looks gorgeous with any Lizzie O bolero or kimono shrug.
Fully lined, with zip fastening on the back.
Available in black.Learn More
The inspiration for this stunning and very glamorous dress was the iconic movie stars of the 1930s such as Lauren Bacall and Katherine Hepburn. It’s cut on the bias, which means it will drape beautifully over your hips. With a high and slightly cowl neck, the shoulders are gathered onto silver rings, with a plunging low cut back. It looks gorgeous on its own and is guaranteed to turn heads.
It also looks stunning when accessorised with a Lizzie O Bolero or Kimono Shrug.Learn More
Our bomber jacket is made from two pieces of vintage kimono silk fabric made circa 1970. The background is in a very pretty royal blue with large circular shapes surrounded by lots of brightly coloured chrysanthemums, daisies, cherry blossoms and forget me nots. The bomber jacket style has a 70s feel, short to the waist with front and back yoke with bell-shaped sleeves in black satin silk fabric which gather into cotton lycra cuffs. The collar is a classic standard collar with a zip at the front and concealed pockets at the side. The jacket is fully lined.Learn More

This striking puff sleeve bolero is sourced from a rare vintage kimono fabric titled Wild Orchid. It’s 100% silk with a black background and the most beautiful white, yellow, orange painted flowers. It was made circa 1950s.
This bolero is really versatile. It can be worn casually with jeans or you can dress up with a slinky party dress. It goes wonderfully well with the Macy High-waisted Pencil skirt (as shown). All of my kimono fabrics are very special to me and I know they will be to you as well. They have a unique feel, each coming with its own sense of history and memories. Touch them and you connect with a time gone by.
This bolero is a one-off piece. Purchase and you are safe in the knowledge that you have acquired a unique handmade garment that is uniquely yours to treasure. Given that this fabric is more than 50 years old there may be occasional marks and slight imperfections, but this all adds to the character and uniqueness of the fabric.

The fabric for this Kimono fabric is made from two different kimonos: the sleeves and main part of the bodice are from Plume Blossom and the front and back yoke are called Crazy Chrysanthemum – both circa 1950s. The pattern is very striking with lovely bright bold colours in reds, greens, pinks and yellows in flowers and swirls.
The front crosses over in the traditional Kimono jacket-style and the top half is made in vintage kimono pieces and the bottom in 100% cotton sateen and fully lined. The front is fastened with little black ties.

These trousers are made in homage to style icon Audrey Hepburn. They are such a fantastic cut with a lovely shape and are very versatile. They are high-waisted with side pockets, side zip and vents at the bottom. Made in black cotton sateen.
These trousers are so flattering and a must for any fashionable girl’s wardrobe and can be worn with flat shoes or with heels; they look great either way. There are teamed here with the Plum Blossom Kimono, but would also look lovely with any of the Lizzie O bomber jackets or boleros.
Lizzie O understands how difficult it can be to get the right length of trouser. All Lizzie O trousers are made for an average height of 5ft 5in (1.65m) but if you require shorter or longer just let her know - email Lizzie@lizzieOBoutique.com for further details.

A gorgeous vintage-inspired backless dress with puff sleeves, a round neck and darts at the front and back and a very flattering fitted pencil skirt with a vent and zip at the back. It can be worn with or without the peplum. T
his very pretty fabric is called Rayon Chirimen Crepe and will remind you of the silk crepe fabric that was used a lot in the 1930s and 40s. The texture is slightly raised wrinkly fabric. We managed to source this fabric that is still used in Japan to this day. We hope you will like the fabric as much as we do.
This little black dress shows off your curves. It’s tight-fitting and so glamorous, especially worn with those oh-so-high heels or wedges.Learn More
